Resident Evil Village almost drops out of top 40

Our latest Xbox Gameplay Chart shows Super Animal Royale making its debut appearance while Resident Evil Village takes a plunge, almost falling out of the top 40. Here is the top 40 Xbox Gameplay Chart for the week ending June 6th, 2021.

Chart compiled using gameplay data from over 2.5 million active Xbox accounts. Chart information is copyright TrueGaming Network. For details on how the chart is calculated, click here.

Our top ten is as stubborn as ever, with only Roblox and Rainbow Six Siege swapping places at 10th and 11th. Just below, we see Maneater already beginning to slide down the chart after jumping straight into the top 15 thanks to its Xbox Game Pass addition. Ark: Survival Evolved has jumped up seven places to 21st after the launch of its final expansion, while For Honor has soared up 16 places to 24th after joining Xbox Game Pass last week. Mass Effect Legendary Edition has hopped down five spaces to 25th, while Human Fall Flat has flown up ten spots to 27th, most likely as more players start its latest Forest level.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has dropped four spaces to 29th. Ubisoft has already confirmed we’ll see Valhalla during Ubisoft Forward this weekend — it’s possible we’ll have news of Valhalla’s next expansion, and if so, we’ll likely see Valhalla rocket up the chart when it launches. Rust: Console Edition has dropped seven spots to 30th, while SnowRunner has fallen ten spaces to 36th. Just below that, we see Super Animal Royale making its debut appearance on the chart at 38th — it’s free to play via Xbox Game Preview, and seems to be pulling in a fair amount of players. It’s not such a happy story for Resident Evil Village, which has this week dropped another ten places to 39th, while just clinging on at the bottom is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition.

Coming up, we have Darkest Dungeon joining Xbox Game Pass soon, with Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered joining later this month, not to mention the launch of games like Chivalry 2 and Scarlet Nexus. What do you think will break into the top 40 next? Let us know what you think in the comments!
