Tales of Arise set to launch for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in SeptemberApril 22, 2021
Tales of Arise was delayed out of 2020 when its development was affected by COVID-19. Producer Yusuke Tomizawa spoke to IGN to say “we have given ourselves the time to really focus on quality and improvement of the game, as well as expanding accessibility and giving players more options, such as porting it to the PS5 and the Xbox [Series] next-generation consoles so that we have wider options for the consumer to choose from when they’re thinking about buying this game.”
In Tales of Arise, the planet Dahna is at the mercy of the planet Rena, which steals its resources and its people. The game details add that “on the planet Dahna, reverence has always been given to Rena, the planet in the sky, as a land of the righteous and divine. Stories handed down for generations became truth and masked reality for the people of Dahna.” Tales of Arise will introduce two characters from these opposing planets who are “looking to change their fate and create a new future.”
Tales of Arise will launch on September 10th for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
